コンテンツ流通促進シンポジウム

Doblogさんのエントリー「コンテンツ流通促進シンポジウムに行ってきました。」より。管理人のからし男さんが実際にシンポジウムに参加されたそうで、その感想をまとめてらっしゃいます。
話題は多岐にわたった様子なんですが、音楽業界の流通に関係ありそうなのは以下の点。引用させていただきますと。

森口審議官
「（輸入権について）法律を作って海外進出を支援してるのだから、レコード会社が積極的に海外進出しないのなら廃止する」

森口審議官は、高橋健太郎氏とコンタクトを取った文化庁の人物ですね。
産業保護のための立法であったことを認める発言であると共に、業界が法律に胡坐をかかないよう牽制する意図をも持った発言である、というところでしょうか。
つまり、輸入権が創設されたにもかかわらず、マーケットの様相が何も変わらなかったら、大いに批判してかまわない、ということでもあります。
考えすぎかもしれませんが、レコード業界にしてみたら、味方かと思っていた文化庁から、思わぬ形で短刀を突きつけられた格好です。
さーて、減少傾向にあるアジアでの売上を伸ばすことが出来るかな？
できなかったら、輸入権はなしね。

追記：造反有理さんでもこのシンポジウムについてとりあげてらっしゃいます。発言をより詳細、かつ批判的に検討し、上記、森口審議官の発言を傲慢かつ無責任なものと斬って捨ててらっしゃいます。ぜひ併せてお読みください。
